◆ Want your candle to last longer with minimal soot? Make sure you trim the wick to 1/8"-1/4” before every single new burn.
◆ Burn the candle for at least 2 hours for the first use to avoid tunneling.
◆ Avoid burning for longer than 3-4 hours at a time.
◆ Keep the candle on a flat, fire-resistant surface.
◆ Keep the candle away from children and pets.
◆ Keep away from flammable material.
Note:
*During the burning process, carbon builds up on the wicks. This is a normal process, however if you re-light a wick that has this carbon build up it can cause excess soot and heat. This yields a lower quality candle performance. (If you have ever noticed black smoke sticking to the sides of your glass candles in the past, this is why!)
Regularly trimming your wick helps to reduce this.
